This beautiful and beguiling deer is a difficult species to photograph in an undisturbed state.
Roe deer are crepuscular, so they are most active at twilight. Therefore, your greatest chance of seeing them are during the first and last hours of the day.
Today I shot this photos at sunset and the light wasn't the best. A fleeting shot but happy to have met and seen her.
